Barry flashes into the coffee shop, and tries to talk Iris out of blogging again by pointing out, again , that her blogging opens her up to being targeted by evil metahumans. Their chat is cut short by the sound of sirens, as cops try and chase down a yellow Hummer that is tearing through the streets of Vancouver Central City like a bat out of heck. The yellow Hummer is great shorthand, letting you know really quickly that the driver is a garbage person. The cops try and set up a barricade, and Joe West again, one of two detectives in town, apparently is on the scene with his partner, Eddie Thawne. Joe basically corroborates that only a douchebag would drive around in a yellow Hummer, and they try and clear the area of civilians. Unfortunately, some kid with earbuds in is completely oblivious to the car chase happening behind him, due to him having earbuds in, probably too busy playing Pokeman or something.

Unless your abuser happens to be made of metal and you happen to develop superspeed, The CW is not the place to turn for conflict resolution. However, if you want to see some excellent action scenes involving some fun supervillains from the pages of DC Comics, then this is a great place to start. The Flash continues to be a fun hour of television with perfectly cast characters playing out not only action-packed story arcs but also dramatic relationships that easily draw viewers in. At six episodes in, it easily remains one of the most entertaining shows on TV today. He also asks to be called anything but The Streak. A high-speed chase takes Barry away from Iris and puts him square in front of a muscle-bound man who can turn his skin to solid metal. He shares his memory with Cisco and Caitlin, who talk about their own dealings with bullies.

As has been discussed since it premiered, The Flash is an old-fashioned sort of show. The biggest problem is Iris, who has been woefully misjudged. And this was the week I was dreading most the Iris-centric episode that left her just as clueless and wide-eyed as she had begun. We begin and end with her narration, which was almost word for word what Barry had told us in the series premiere, and the bit in the middle was filler of the dullest kind. The Flash is in a unique position right now in that, even so early in its run, it has all the faith in the world behind it. People are enjoying the show and want it to succeed, and so it can try pretty much whatever it wants.

The Flash - Series Episode 06 "The Flash is Born".. Entertainment, Inc. On tonights episode we were are treated to all sorts of great stuff. Normally when the show starts each week, we hear the voice over from Barry. This time though its a little different however as its Iris giving the voice over.
